Money supply as of end of August
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ According to a report of the Bank of Mongolia, money supply (broad money or M2) reached MNT 11.3 trillion at the end of August of 2016, which shows decrease of MNT 56.2 billion (0.5 %) compared with the previous month and increased by MNT 1290.2 billion or 12.9 percent against the same period of last year.
At the end of August, currency issued in circulation reached MNT 817.2 billion, decreased by MNT 0.9 billion (0.1%) compared with the previous month and increased by MNT 42.8 billion (5.5 %) against the same period of the previous year.
