Ulaanbaatar, May 29, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The progress of the "Emergency Relief and Employment Support" Project, jointly implemented by the Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Protection of Mongolia (MFLSP) and the World Bank, stands at 86 percent.

On May 28, 2025, State Secretary of the MFLSP Munkhzul Lkhagvasuren met with Advisor and Senior Economist of the World Bank Yang Huang and other representatives to discuss the implementation of the Project. Measures under the Project, including the launch of the "E-Job" employment data platform, contributed to Mongolia's goal of becoming a digital nation and building a customer-centric service environment.

To support micro-businesses, small loans of up to MNT 50 million were provided, which made a tangible impact on the enterprises' operational expansion and growth of assets and income, leading to the employment of 536 people and preserving 1,119 jobs. In 2025, the Project is expected to provide support in transferring MFLSP's industry-specific integrated information base, information systems, and big data into a centralized cloud system, facilitating optimal delivery of public services to citizens.

As a result, an advanced system that maintains sectoral information bases and processes big data will be created, enabling the government’s efficient implementation of a cohesive and comprehensive policy, and subsequently leading to a positive impact on the citizens’ quality of life.

The "E-Job" platform, funded by the World Bank, was introduced nationwide in 2022 by the Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Protection of Mongolia under the “Emergency Relief and Employment Support” Project.
