External trade results in increased surplus
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first 11 months of 2016, Mongolia traded with 157 countries and a total external trade turnover reached USD 7356.3 million, of which USD 4276.7 million was made up by exports and USD 3079.6 million-- by imports.
The total external trade turnover decreased USD 381.7 million (4.9%), namely, imports decreased by USD 415.5 million (11.9%) compared to the same period in 2015.
In the first 11 months of this year, surplus of external trade balance reached USD 1197.1 million. It has risen by USD 449.3 million from USD 747.8 million, which was in the same period of 2015.
