Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ GDP by production approach reached MNT 12.8 trillion at current prices and MNT 7.6 trillion at 2010 constant price in the first half of 2017, up 16.8 percent at current prices and 5.3 percent at constant prices compared to same period of the previous year.
GDP by expenditure approach reached MNT 13.2 trillion at current price, MNT 7.4 trillion at 2010 constant price in the first half of 2017, up 20.6 percent at current price and 5.2 percent at constant price compared to same period of the previous year.
The share of final consumption, gross capital formation, and net export in GDP was 62.7 percent, 31.8 percent, and net export 5.5 percent respectively. Compared to same period of the previous year, the share of gross capital formation and net exports in GDP increased 7.6 points and 2.3 points respectively, while that of the final consumption decreased 9.9 points.
