FRC Director attends the 43rd Annual Conference of IOSCO

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Director of the Financial Regulatory Commission of Mongolia (FRC) S.Davaasuren is attending the 43rd Annual Conference of the International Organization of Securities Commission (IOSCO) being held in Budapest between May 7 and 11. This year, the conference focuses on the digital currency, emerging on financial and stock markets in recent years, as well as the development tendency of e-financial instrument, its risks, regulation and information technology, financial products and services based on artificial intelligence.
The policy-makers and managing representatives of IOSCO affiliate members, securities and financial experts and specialists make recommendations on policy solutions at the annual conference. Thus, the FRC representatives are introducing the problems of the stock market, discussing the state of fintech and expecting of recommendations of experts.
During the conference, FRC Director S.Davaasuren will attend meetings of the IOSCO Presidents Committee, Asia-Pacific Regional Committee and Growth and Emerging Market Committee, as well as the regulatory workshops including ‘The role of artificial intelligence and machine learning in future of financial services’, ‘Crypto currencies and Initial Coin Offerings- Trends, Risks and Regulatory Implications’ and ‘The Rise of ETFs as an Asset Class - A fast growing industry underpinned by strong innovation’.
