Researcher L.Dugerjav departs for Antarctica from Sofia

Ulaanbaatar /MONSTAME/ On December 11, Director of the Antarctic Research Center of the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, Professor, Antarctic researcher L.Dugerjav with a Bulgarian expedition group headed off to Antarctica from Sofia, Bulgaria.
L.Dugerjav, who was the first Mongolian to raise the Mongolian flag in Antarctica and is currently leading the establishment of the Chinggis Khaan Mongolian Antarctic research station on Livingston Island in Antarctica, left his homeland on November 19 for his seventh journey to the South Pole.
This time, he is working with his colleagues from Turkey, Colombia, Portugal, and Bulgaria in the 28th expedition group of Bulgaria.
