Young Mongolian Boxer Altanzul to Fight for Gold at the Asian U-15 and U-17 Boxing Championships

April 28, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Asian U-15 and U-17 Boxing Championships are underway in
Amman, Jordan, from April 19 to April 30, 2025.
At the Championships, 405 young athletes from 18 countries are competing. From Mongolia, seven boxers under the guidance of R. Jolanman and J. Bat-Otgon are competing, with two athletes securing medals. T. Davaajav earned the bronze medal in the Men’s U-17 75kg category.
In the 46 kg division, A. Altanzul secured a
silver medal and is set to fight a boxer from the Republic of India for the gold medal
on April 30, 2025. Altanzul is a young prospect,
winning two gold medals from the National Sub-Junior and Junior Boxing
Championships of Mongolia.
