Young Mongolian Judokas Win 16 Medals at Hong Kong Cadet Asian Cup 2025

Ulaanbaatar, July 21, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Mongolian judokas secured 16 medals at the Hong Kong Cadet Asian Cup 2025, part of the International Judo Federation (IJF) schedule.
The team returned home with five gold, three silver, and eight bronze medals. Over 120 young athletes from 13 Asian countries competed in Hong Kong, including 15 boys and 12 girls from Mongolia. Over 160 athletes from 12 countries participated in the junior division, 34 of whom represented Mongolia.

By team standings, Mongolia placed first, followed by athletes from the Commonwealth of Australia, Chinese Taipei, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Republic of Korea in the top five.
