Speaker of Parliament D. Amarbayasgalan to Attend the 6th World Conference of Speakers of Parliament

2025 /MONTSAME/. Speaker of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia
Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve will attend the Sixth World Conference of Speakers of
Parliament on July 29-31, 2025, in Geneva, the Swiss Confederation, according
to the Media and Public Relations Department of the State Great Khural.
Since joining the
Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) as a member in 1962, Mongolia has regularly
attended the conference and actively contributed to the IPU’s activities. The
Sixth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament will convene Speakers of
Parliament, international organizations, researchers, and civil society delegations
from over 180 countries.
The quadrennial
high-level conference aims to strengthen interparliamentary cooperation and increase
parliamentary involvement in addressing global pressing issues.
At the conference, Speaker
of the State Great Khural Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve will deliver a speech at the
General Debate on “A World in Turmoil: Parliamentary Cooperation and Multilateralism
for Peace, Justice and Prosperity for All,” in addition to exchanging views on
democracy, peace, sustainable development, and gender equality with other Speakers
of Parliament.
