Speaker of New Zealand House of Representatives Visits Chinggis Khaan National Museum

Ulaanbaatar, September 2, 2025 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of the Chairman of the Great State Khural of Mongolia, Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve, a delegation led by the Speaker of the House of Representatives of New Zealand, Gerry Brownlee, who is paying an official visit to Mongolia, visited the Chinggis Khaan National Museum on September 1, 2025.


The delegation was received by the Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth, Undram Chinbat; Member of the Great State Khural and Chair of the Mongolia-New Zealand Parliamentary Group, Erdenebold Sukhbaatar; and Director of the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, Chuluun Sampildondov.


Speaker Gerry Brownlee and his delegation toured the Ancient Statehood Hall, the Great Mongol Empire Hall, and the Great Khaan’s Palace Hall of the museum.


They later viewed the Golden Statue of Chinggis Khaan in the museum’s Hall of Honor, where they left written impressions and signed the Guest Book.
