Speaker Gerry Brownlee of New Zealand House Officially Welcomed

/MONTSAME/. The Chairman of the Great State Khural of Mongolia,
Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve, officially welcomed and greeted the Chairman of the
House of Representatives of New Zealand, Gerry Brownlee, who is paying an official
visit to Mongolia at the invitation of the Chairman of Parliament of Mongolia.
After paying respects at the statue
of the Great Chinggis Khaan together with the guests, they visited the Pillared
Hall of the State Palace’s Ceremonial Chamber, where Mr. Brownlee signed the
guest book and left his remarks. Thus, official talks between the Chairman of
the Great State Khural, Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve, and the Chairman of the House
of Representatives of New Zealand, Gerry Brownlee, commenced at the State
Palace.
This marks the first official visit by a Chairman of Parliament in the 50-year history of friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and New Zealand, contributing to the advancement of the bilateral relationship.
