Ulaanbaatar, September 5, 2025 /MONTSAME/. This summer, the ‘Nairamdal’ International Children’s Camp has received more than 100 children from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Korea, the People’s Republic of China, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the United States of America, Japan, the Republic of Singapore, and other countries.
Between June 4 and August 24 of 2025, the children's camp hosted over 6,000 children in its summer sessions. For them, the camp has implemented 28 project-based programs, ranging from traditional arts and sports to newly introduced activities such as ceramics, paper folding, and Lego robotics.
The ‘Nairamdal’ camp was established in 1978 by a resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Mongolian People’s Republic, adopted in 1974, with the initiative of the Central Committee of the Children’s Fund. Initially, the camp could accommodate 240 children per session, organizing cultural and sports activities for school children. In 1981, with the commissioning of the main building, a school, and staff residences, the center expanded its capacity to accommodate 500 children in the summer and 240 in the winter, thereby broadening its operations.
