Powdered milk factory opens in Khuvsgul aimag

Khuvsgul /MONTSAME/ In the scope of the first campaign of meat and milk, standard portable facility of dried milk has put into operation in Ikh-Uul soum of Khuvsgul aimag. It aims to create opportunities to take full advantage of agricultural resources, manufacture value added products and constantly supply raw materials and products which meet international standards for exports. The dried milk facility has a capacity to manufacture 80 liter liquid milk in an hour.
The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry and ‘Mongolian Dry Milk’ Company are co-implementing a ‘Mongolian dried milk’ project, aimed at utilizing unused milk resources in rural areas of Mongolia, develop domestic production of exports for import substitution.
In the framework of the campaign of meat and milk, such factories will be installed in 60 soums of Mongolia. The dried milk factory in Ikh-uul soum of Khuvsgul aimag is becoming the first one with Japanese high technology from other aimags of Mongolia.
