Mongolian judokas win 3 silver and 5 bronze medals in China

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian team of judokas received 3 silver and 5 bronze medals from the Hohhot Grand Prix, which was held during the last weekend in Hohhot city, China.

The Hohhot Grand Prix 2017 was attended by wrestlers from 26 foreign countries and 18 countries of them secured medals of different colors. Japan’s judoka team led in 5 weight categories, whereas Russian and South Korean wrestlers headed in two categories. Also, judo teams of China, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Czech, Canada and Austria returned their homelands in one triumph each.

Mongolian female judoka Mongolian Honored Sportswoman-titled D.Sumiya gained a silver medal in 57 kg, another Mongolian Honored Sportswoman-titled M.Urantsetseg took a bronze medal in 52 kg and B.Munkhtuya, International Master of Sports secured a bronze in 78 kg. Moreover, Mongolian male judo wrestler Mongolian Honored Sportsman-titled D.Amartuvshin received a silver medal in 60 kg, International Master of Sports U.Duurenbayar took a silver medal in +100 kg category, Mongolian Honored Sportsman G.Boldbaatar gained a bronze medal in 60 kg, Yo.Baskhuu won a bronze medal in 66 kg and G.Altanbagana achieved a bronze medal in 90 kg respectively.
