Minister D.Sumiyabazar working in Canada

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On March 5, Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry D.Sumiyabazar held bilateral meeting with Minister for Resources and Northern Australia, Senator Matt Canavan, Rio Tinto Geological Exploration Director Dave Andrews and other representatives within the scope of his working visit to Canada.
During the meeting the parties exchanged views on cooperation possibilities within the framework of the Government policies and certain projects and programs in geology and mining sphere.
On the same day, the Minister met Kim Rudd, Parliamentary Secretary to Canada's Minister of Natural Resources Jim Carr. They exchanged views on newly formulating law on Mining, development strategy of mining sector and actions against climate change in the sector.
