"Tourism Week 2024" Begins Today with Mongolian Tourism Forum

Ulaanbaatar, April 15, 2024 /MONTSAME/. “Tourism Week – 2024” is taking place in Mongolia on April 15-21, 2024. Today, Tourism Week kicked off with the Mongolian Tourism Forum at the State Palace of Mongolia, bringing together over 880 tourism industry representatives
Under Mongolia's goal to attract 1 million tourists this year, the Forum convened representatives from the Environment and Tourism Departments of 21 aimags, tourism associations, academics and researchers in the tourism industry, guides and interpreters, as well as enterprises operating in the industry. The Forum will outline the future direction and policies of the tourism industry and reflect on past initiatives and accomplishments.
As part of Tourism Week, jointly organized by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia and the Mongolia Tourism Organization, a series of events have been scheduled for industry professionals.
