Mongolia to hold Children’s Para Games

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Nearly 500 disabled Mongolian children will compete in eight different parasports at an upcoming competition.
The Children’s Para Games will be held on May 29-31 in Ulaanbaatar, challenging 493 athletes for 238 medals.
The Physical Culture and Sports Authority, the Mongolian National Paralympic Committee, the Mongolian Committee of Deaf Sports, the Special Olympic Committee and Grand China Sports Limited will co-organize the Games, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and China, which will be marked in 2019.
The Government’s 2016-2020 action plan reflects an objective to build a disabled sports complex, which is planned to be carried out with Chinese non-refundable aid.
