Mongolian youth working at leading tech companies to share their experiences
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and
the NGOs, ‘Council of Mongolians Abroad’ and ‘Tsakhim Urtuu Kholboo’ will be co-hosting the 17th Forum for the Development of Mongolia on July 3.
Despite
the COVID-19 pandemic causing global economic growth to slow down and creating
difficulties in cross-border logistics, the technology sector has rapidly
developed in the past few years.
At this
time when artificial intelligence, blockchain and other technologies are
creating equal opportunities for every country and nation, investment in
technology development has reached a record high around the world in 2020-2021.
Similarly, Mongolia also attaches great importance to digital transition, with
the recent establishment of the Digital Policy Committee and
the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications.
With an
aim to create an internationally competitive technology system, and determine
the participation of the private sector and state support, this year’s forum
will be organized under the topic ‘Technology Forum for Mongolians Abroad’. The
forum will bring together the country’s youth working in leading technology
companies, who will share their experiences.
