Mongolia-Slovenia trade turnover reaches USD 21.5 million

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Director of Foreign Trade and Cooperation Department of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) Ts.Gerelsaikhan met with Deputy Chief of Mission at the Slovenian Embassy in Beijing Tadeja Forštner Perklič.


During the meeting, activities of the MNCCI were introduced and an exchange of views took place on bringing trade and economic relations between the two countries to a new level and defining priority areas for cooperation in the business sector.


They also discussed the possibility of organizing a Mongolia-Slovenia business forum and conducting charter flights in October this year.


In 2021, the trade turnover between the two countries reached USD 21.5 million, of which import was USD 20.5 million and export was USD 1.1 million. The sides agreed to work closely to increase Mongolia's exports and expand economic and business relations between the two countries.
