Ulaanbaatar, April 11, 2024 /MONTSAME/. "Michel & Amazonka" company has undertaken the task of crafting ceremonial attire for Mongolia's national team athletes, coaches, and officials to be worn during the Olympics' opening ceremony. Meanwhile, the renowned Japanese brand "Mizuno" has been commissioned to produce sports attire.

"Michel & Amazonka" boasts prior experience in designing attire for Mongolian team athletes participating in both the Winter and Summer Olympic Games. Conversely, "Mizuno" was chosen through a poll conducted among 10,000 citizens aged between 18 and 60, as well as 303 members of the National Team. Both ceremonial and sports clothing sets are slated to be finalized and prepared by June 15.

B. Monkhbayar, the general manager of "Michel & Amazonka," remarked, "Some may be aware that we have previously tailored garments for the Olympic Games, such as 'Tokyo-2020' and 'Beijing-2022.' The International Olympic Committee Museum has preserved the athletes' fashionable coats from the Beijing Olympics as memorabilia. Paris, being a hub of fashion, demands a design of utmost elegance, reflecting contemporary typology. The primary distinguishing features include vests and intricate embroideries, incorporating elements such as Mongolia's national pride symbolized by the nine white banners, the Olympic torch, auspicious patterns representing queens, and celestial bodies like the sun and the moon. Due to the intricate craftsmanship involved, it will require five days to complete a full set of attire for a single athlete."
