Ulaanbaatar will become tourism-friendly city
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In key purposes to making Ulaanbaatar a tourism-friendly city and to boost the tourism industry, Ulaanbaatar city will cooperate with the Tourism Association of Mongolia (TAM) and the Commercial Chamber of Ulaanbaatar (CCU).
A cooperation memorandum was signed Wednesday by Ts.Enkhtsengel, a Vice Mayor of Ulaanbaatar in charge of social development affairs , by J.Od, the president of the CCU, and by D.Gantomor, a president of the TAM.
The parties will collaborate by a way of introducing a general standard for entities of tourism located in Ulaanbaatar or near the city and of creating a commercial center of Mongolian brandsaccorded with international standards.
The sides will also co-organize tourism exhibitions, establish an info-center for foreign and domestic tourists, erect a service complex in order to prolong tourism season in UB, make a tourism free-zone near a new international airport and a satellite city for attracting transit passengers via Ulaanbaatar.
