Quadruplet lambs born with help of vet surgeons
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An ewe gave birth to quadruplet lambs through C Section performed by a team of veterinary surgeons on March 16 in Guchin-Us soum of Uvurkhangai aimag. A herdsman G.Batsukh, owner of the sheep, called ambulance as the delivery was becoming complicated.
Thanks to the team headed by surgeon Yo.Gerelt-Od, the four newborn lambs are alive and healthy, reports the TV 5 channel. According to G.Batsukh, the ewe had given birth to triplets three times and one quadruplets, so far. The offsprings also delivers triplets, he added.
"The quadruplets are the first newborns of the Year of the Monkey, it is a good omen that predicts an excellent growth in the number of our livestock," he said.
