Ulaanbaatar city to expand cooperation with Erenhot in several areas
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mayor of Ulaanbaatar E.Bat-Uul received Friday Yao Yongbo, the Party Secretary of Erenhot of China, and shared views on the cooperation between the capital city of Mongolia and the Chinese city.
Expressing his satisfaction with dynamic development of the friendly ties and cooperation between both cities, the Mayor emphasized Ulaanbaatar strives for boosting bilateral collaboration, especially in the areas of tourism, culture, arts, economy and other sectors.
Yao thanked the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar for the audience, and invited him to take part in a forum of the China-Mongolia-Russia economic cooperation that will be held this year in Erenhot. He said the Chinese side is ready to render support to Mongolia for sending delegates and organize a fair of Mongolian goods during the forum.
Erenhot wants to cooperate with Ulaanbaatar in great construction works near the Mongolia-China borders, boosting the tourism industry and encouraging exchanges in the culture, arts and health sectors, Mr Yao pointed out. He believes that the cooperation between Erenhot and Ulaanbaatar will broaden further.
Bat-Uul confirmed his participation in the trilateral forum of economic cooperation in Erenhot, and then invited Mr Yao to attend the 3rd Forum” for Mayors of the cities of North-East Asia to be held on August 4-5 in Ulaanbaatar.
Present at the meeting were E.Battulga, head of the Tourism Division of Ulaanbaatar; B.Battsengel, head of the Division of Culture and Arts; Chai Wenrui, the General Consul of China in Zamyn-Uud city; and other officials.
