Social insurance sector in statistics
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first four months of this year, the revenue of Social Insurance Fund (SIF) amounted to MNT 536.2 billion which increased by MNT 105.9 billion or 24.6%, while the SIF expenditure reached MNT 535.7 billion which increased by MNT 47.9 billion or 9.8% against the previous year.
The SIF expenditure increased by MNT 47.9 billion in first four months of 2016 against the same period of 2015.
Money of MNT 48.0 billion was given to 199.1 thousand people for pensions and welfare benefits from the Social Welfare Fund (SEF). The number of pensioners and people who received welfare allowances increased by 13.7 thousand people or 7.4%, therefore amount of pensions and allowances increased by MNT 54.1 million or 0.1% compared to same period of the previous year.
In the period, money of MNT 80.6 billion was given from the Human Development Fund (HDF) to 1,004.9 thousand children aged below 18 as cash benefits.
