SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 28 people died and 907.7 thousand heads of livestock and animals were lost due to disasters and accidents with a total number of frequency 1,583 in the first four months of this year.
In this period, 1404 construction fires were registered, and 49 head animals were infected with rabies and sheep small pox was recorded 39 times.
In the first 4 months of 2016, the damage caused by the construction fires amounted to MNT 3.5 billion and total expenditure spent on the eleminitation of aftermath of the disasters and accidents was MNT 243.5 million.
The number of recorded disasters and accidents decreased by 374 compared to same period of the previous year.
