Number of disasters and accidents decreased by 22.9 percent
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first 10 months of 2016, a total of 3,710 disasters and accidents happened, showing a decrease of 1105 cases (22.9%) compared to the same period of 2015. As a result, 191 human lives were lost and 1049.3 thous.heads livestock and animals died.
There were 3,111 construction fires and 77 rabies cases. Estimated damage caused by the construction fires amounted to MNT 7.2 billion and totally MNT 547.2 million were spent for elimination of disasters and accidents aftermath.
