Military Parade marched at Central Square

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Commemorating the 2226th anniversary of Foundation of First Mongolian Statehood, 811th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire and 96th anniversary of People’s Revolution of Mongolia, a ceremonial parade for the Day of Flag took place on July 10.
Within the framework of Naadam celebration, ceremonial parade marched through the central square. The ceremony was attended by President Kh.Battulga, former President Ts.Elbegdorj, Parliament Speaker M.Enkhbold, Prime Minister J.Erdenebat, members of the Parliament and representatives of diplomatic missions in Mongolia, as well as armed forces, law enforcement agencies and veterans.
During the ceremony, former President Ts.Elbegdorj addressed “2200 years ago, Mongolian noble people have flied their crest and founded the first statehood. We are the descendants of people who had the courage to protect their country. The flags of our ancestors were the symbol of pounding bullets, raging horses, battlecry of brave men, unity of their lands, strength and sovereignty of its state”.
