NEMA to cooperate with professional mountaineers to train rescuers

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Major-General T.Badral, Head of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) met Board members of ‘JCI Hiking club’ on January 5.
During the meeting, Members of JCI Hiking club offered support to organize trainings and exercises among NEMA rescuers jointly with foreign and national professional mountaineers for search-and-rescue operation in high mountains, relying upon JCI Mongolia’s international cooperation.
The sides agreed to cooperate in directions of setting standards of mountaineering gear and clothing, ensuring safety of rescuers and conducting safety trainings and exercises.
