Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Precipitation and sleet are expected in mountainous areas of Khangai on March 22, in northern parts of western aimags on March 24, in northern parts of western and central aimags on March 25.
The wind will get stronger, reaching 12-14m/sec in the Altai Mountains on March 24 and in some areas of the country on March 25.
The temperature will drop slightly in the beginning of this period. However, it will start getting warmer on March 23.
In the depression of Darkhad and Uvs lake, and in the basins of Ider, Tes, Yuruu and Khalk rivers, the nighttime temperature will be -16-21 degrees Celsuis, the daytime temperature will be -4+1 degrees Celsuis.
The nighttime temperature in mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentii, in the head area of Zavkhan river, in the basins of Khurenbelchir, Orkhon, Selenge, Kharaa, Terelk, Tuul, Kherlen, Onon and Ulz rivers will be -4-9, and the daytime, +6+11 degrees Celsuis.
In southern parts of Gobi region, the nighttime high is expected to be +4 degrees Celsius and the daytime highest will reach +23 degrees Celsuis.
In other areas, the nighttime temperature will be -6+1 and the daytime will hit +12+17 degrees Celsuis respectively.
