Mongolian officials trained on FTA negotiation

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Commerce of the Republic of China co-organized 2018 Seminar on Mongolia-China Free Trade Agreement Negotiation on May 15-30 in Beijing, China.
The seminar was attended by 30 officials from the Mongolia’s Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Environment and Tourism, Labor and Social Protection, and Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, Mongolian Customs General
Administration, Mongolian Tax Administration, National Statistical Office as well as others.
The seminar covered a wide range of issues, such as the service sector issues in the FTA, trade protection measures, investment, rules of origin, trade facilitation, and China’s experience in establishing FTA.
Within the seminar activities, the attendants visited Shanghai and Nanjing to get familiarized with activities of the Customs Office of Nanjing.
