Minister Ts.Tsogzolmaa receives Governor of Shizuoka prefecture

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On July 30, Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Ts.Tsogzolmaa met with officials headed by Heita Kawakatsu, the Governor of Japan’s Shizuoka Prefecture.
Minister Ts.Tsogzolmaa emphasized that bilateral cooperation in culture, education and sports sector has been successfully developing with the assistance of Shizuoka Prefecture and expressed pleasure of personally meeting with the prefecture’s Governor and to share views on cooperation issues in the field of education, culture, science and sports.

Over the last three years, a student exchange program for high school students has been carried out between the two countries. In addition, athletes of the two countries are undergoing joint trainings in judo, freestyle wrestling, Para-athletics in four cities of Shizuoka Prefecture. The Minister conveyed gratitude for Shizuoka Prefecture’s great role and contribution towards bilateral cooperation in culture, education and sports sector to the Governor of the prefecture and exchanged views on intensification of bilateral cooperation in education, culture, sports and science sector.
