S.Korea Culture Days to be organized next month

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ On August 16, Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, met Jeong Jae Nam, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia.During the meeting, the sides discussed about bilateral ties and exchanged views on expanding cooperation in all sectors.
At the meeting, S. Batbold said, “Mongolia and S.Korea have friendly ties from ancient times. Two countries support each other in international arena, too. Bilateral relations are expanding in all social spheres within ‘comprehensive partnership’. For instance, it is pleased to note implementations of S.Korean numerous projects and programs in social sector, such as improvement of public transport service, establishment of treatment and diagnostic center and expansion of greenery, through S.Korean official development assistance and non-refundable assistance of KOICA.” “The municipal government supports upcoming event ‘S.Korea Culture Days’, which is significant to boost cultural ties and mutual understanding of the two countries,” added the Governor.
The Ambassador said, “About three months have passed since I started my mission here. 19 years ago, I visited Mongolia. I worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was in charge of S.Korea-Mongolia relations and cooperation. I have a knowledge about Mongolia. Bilateral ties are possible to be expanded in multiple aspects.
“S.Korea Culture Days is intended to be organized on September 15-16 at Seoul Street of Ulaanbaatar city. For the event, S.Korea’s prominent singers and artists will arrive,” emphasized Mr. Jeong Jae Nam.
