One-stop service center for foreign investors operates

‘Invest in Mongolia’ one-stop service center (OSSC) has officially opened on February 25. The center aims to create favourable conditions for investors, set forth for them in legal investment framework, streamline public services, scrap or eliminate unnecessary processes and the difficulties that investors are facing.
At the ceremony, Foreign Minister Mr D.Tsogtbaatar delivered an opening speech and Ambassador of Germany to Mongolia Mr. Stefan Duppel made a welcoming remark.
Chairman of the National Development Agency (NDA) Mr.B.Bayarsaikhan delivered presentation on ‘Investment policy and regulation’ to the investors and guests from international organizations, Embassies in Ulaanbaatar.
The ‘Invest in Mongolia’ one-stop service center /OSSC/ will provide all public services of State Registration, Social Insurance, taxation, immigration organizations and other relevant ministries and public institutions which are related to foreign invested entities in Mongolia through a single window system.
The one-stop service center for foreign investors will positively impact on the investor’s satisfaction, restore the investor’s confidence and increase the re-investment amount in Mongolia. Public services for foreign investors will develop in line with international standards and increase Mongolia’s reputation abroad. Possibility to provide comprehensive and transparent disclosure of services pre and after registration of the investment and the coordination of the government organization will be improved.
