Mongolian team to participate Basketball 3x3 World Championship

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. International Basketball Federation (FIBA) 3x3 “U23 World Cup” world youth championship will be held in Lanzhou, China on October 2 -6, 2019.
Mongolia, as a high-ranking nation in both men’s and women’s U23, has been qualified the participation of both men’s and women’s teams. 20 top teams qualified from each continent will compete in the tournament.
Mongolian men’s team secured the 4th position in the FIBA 3x3 men’s rankings and seeded number 1 in the Pool D while women’s team is in the 3rd position and were also seeded number 1 in the Pool C. Men’s Pool D includes Mongolia, Netherlands, Latvia, Serbia and South Korea while Pool C which our women’s team seeded lists Mongolia, Romania, German, Iran and Uganda.
