Bill approved on ensuring implementation of development policy and planning law

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On January 21, 2021, the parliament of Mongolia, State Great Khural approved a parliamentary resolution on giving direction to the government of Mongolia on ensuring the implementation of the law on development policy, planning and its management.
In accordance with the parliament speaker’s order, a working group headed by member of the parliament S.Byambatsogt in charge of ensuring the implementation of the development policy, planning and its management.
In his presentation made at the parliament’s plenary session, MP Byambatsogt introduced it is now necessary to reinforce the works to correspond short, mid and long term development policy and planning documents in line with newly adopted legislations, keep registration of new policy and planning documents and upcoming policy and planning documents, make analysis on the information database on development policy and planning, and establish proper system for institutions of development policy and planning and their status and organizational structure, etc in order to effectively implement the law on development policy, planning and its management.
