Prime Minister receives French Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Prime Minister of Mongolia L.Oyun-Erdene received today
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Mongolia Philippe
Merlin.
At the meeting, the Prime Minister briefed about ‘One door –One
test’ surveillance campaign and the COVID-19 vaccination process in Mongolia
and expressed gratitude to the Government of France for providing necessary
medical assistance. He noted that cooperation with France, an important
partner of Mongolia, is expanding in areas of mutual interest.
For his part, Ambassador Philippe Merlin emphasized ample cooperation
possibilities in the areas of renewable energy, construction, urban development,
mining, railways and the environment, which are reflected in the ‘Vision 2050’
policy document, and the development of e-government.
The sides exchanged views on ongoing and future projects in
infrastructure, energy, food, agriculture, emergency, public transportation,
culture and tourism.
