Mongolia-Indonesia Business Forum to be Organized

July 17, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs B. Battsetseg attended the ASEAN Regional
Forum Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia on July 13 - 14.
On the sideline of the Forum, the Foreign Minister
met with representatives of the business community of Indonesia.
Minister B. Battsetseg provided information about
Mongolia's investment environment and discussed the possibility of exporting
halal processed meat and meat products to Indonesia. Additionally, she
exchanged views on cooperation in the fields of mining, food, and light
industry.
During the meeting, she presented a cooperation
proposal to the management of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry
(KADIN) to establish a joint mechanism between the two countries. In this
context, the Parties agreed to organize a business forum in Ulaanbaatar
in the near future to connect the business communities of the two countries.
