Mongolian Play to Open International Theater Festival “MITEM”

Ulaanbaatar, December 26, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The State Academic Drama Theatre of Mongolia will open the 12th Madach International Theatre Meeting (MITEM) with the play “Son of the Sky”, written by B. Tsognemekh and directed by Laureate of the State Premium of Mongolia N. Naranbaatar.
The official invitation to the international theater festival “MITEM” to perform the play “Son of the Sky” on the stage of the National Theatre in Budapest, Hungary, was personally presented by Director General of the National Theatre Attila Vidnyanszky last October.
Having seen the play “Son of the Sky” on this occasion, the President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, First Lady Bolortsetseg Luvsandorj, and Chief of the Office of the President of Mongolia Zandanshatar Gombojav expressed gratitude to the artists of the State Academic Drama Theatre and presented a portrait of Great Emperor Chinggis Khaan, wishing success in the festival.
