Three Hundred Twenty-Eight Education Projects Implemented in 2025

Ulaanbaatar, August 13, 2025 /MONTSAME/. According to the 2025 State Budget Law of Mongolia, a total of 328 projects and activities in the education sector, with an approved budget of MNT 1.8 trillion and a financing amount of MNT 446.4 billion, are scheduled and being implemented between 2025 and 2026.
Among these, 72 projects and activities — comprising extensions and new buildings for 26 schools with a combined capacity of 11,630 students, 24 kindergartens with 3,225 places, six primary school-kindergarten complexes for 1,680 children, 12 dormitories with 1,525 beds, three sports halls, and vocational education and production center buildings for 960 students — are scheduled to be commissioned in 2025. These works are being carried out in cooperation between the client, the client’s supervisory body, and contracting enterprises.
Ulaanbaatar will see the construction of eight school buildings with a total capacity of 4,720 students, 13 kindergarten buildings with 2,150 openings, five primary school-kindergarten complexes for 1,400 children, and one sports hall. In rural areas, projects include 18 school buildings for 6,910 students, 10 kindergarten buildings with 1,075 openings, 12 dormitories with 1,525 beds, two sports halls, and vocational education and production center buildings for 960 students.
