New Zealand Parliament Speaker Concludes Official Visit to Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, September 4, 2025 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of Chairman of the State Great Khural Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve, a delegation led by Speaker of the New Zealand House of Representatives, Gerry Brownlee, has concluded its official visit to Mongolia and departed on September 3, 2025.
The distinguished guests were seen off at Chinggis Khaan International Airport by Deputy Chairman and Member of the State Great Khural Bulgantuya Khurelbaatar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to New Zealand Davaasuren Damdinsuren, the Chairman of the Mongolian-New Zealand Parliamentary Group, Erdenebold Sukhbaatar, and other officials.
On behalf of Chairman Amarbayasgalan, Deputy Chairman Bulgantuya presented Speaker Gerry Brownlee with a Letter of Gratitude and a photo album commemorating the visit.
In his Letter of Gratitude, Chairman Amarbayasgalan emphasized that the official visit, held within the framework of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and New Zealand, has been an important step in expanding bilateral relations and comprehensive cooperation, elevating inter-parliamentary ties to a new level, and further strengthening mutual understanding, the Media and Public Relations Department of the State Great Khural reported.
