M.Ankhtsetseg sets new weightlifting record for Mongolia
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ As of the end of August 10 matches of Rio 2016, our weightlifter world championships’ Gold and Silver medalist M.Ankhtsetseg ranked at eighth place in the Women’s Weightlifting 69 kg category.
Out of the 10 athletes, competed in this weight, Chinese Xiang Yanmei won the Gold, followed by the Kazakhstani Zhazira Zhapparkul and Egypt's Sara Ahmed.
M.Ankhtsetseg, 18, lifted total of 237 kg, having set a new record for Mongolian weightlifting athletes.
