Flats awarded to Olympic medalists
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs S.Byambatsogt; and authorities of the General Authority of Border Protection (GABP) received Monday D.Sumiya and D.Otgondalai, medalists of the Rio 2016 Olympics.
The dignitaries paid tribute to the Olympic medalists, and then granted to them certificates on awarding a three-room flat to D.Sumiya, a State Honored Sportswoman and Olympic silver medalist for judo; and a two-room apartment to D.Otgondalai IMS, an Olympic medalist for boxing.
Has been belonged to the “Khilchin” sports club at the GABP for eight years, D.Otgondalai expressed thanks to the club’s authorities for supporting him, and promised to gain more success in 2017 AIBA World Championships in Germany. A lieutenant D.Otgondalai said he wants to be employed at the GABP when he is retired from sport.
