Play without actors to stage for the first time in Mongolia
Art & CultureUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. ‘Lifeless matter’ contemporary drama is to take place on February 23-24 at Ancore Conference & Event Venue.
The contemporary drama is not only unique for having no actors, but also bringing a change to the traditional methods used in theatre by creating an abnormal atmosphere.
Based on the literary work, ‘Lifeless matter’, by author U.Ulemjtugs, the drama has the 2016 National Winner of the 'Parade of Winners' International Monodrama Festival Ya.Bilguunsar as the producer, one of the leading Mongolia artists of the modern fine arts scene S.Ganzug as the set designer and Ata Borgujin, who is introducing the live looping method to Mongolia, as the music director.
The new generation of artists aim to depict how one of the “plagues” of the 21st century--noise pollution is negatively affecting not only people, but also pets, animals and the environment through the “language of performing arts”.
