Exhibition tracing back the history of Mongolia-China relations opens

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On October 16, the day of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the People’s Republic of China, an exhibition “Friendship cooperation – Cultural heritages” opened at the National Museum of Mongolia.
The exhibition unveils items displayed during the third anniversary of the diplomatic relations, including exhibits related to visits of Mongolian high-level officials to China at that time as well as some exhibits brought from China in 1953. For instance, applique portraits of Former Chairman of China Mao Zedong and leader of the Mongolian People’s Republic Kh.Choibalsan, photographies taken during former Premier of China Zhou Enlai’s visit to Mongolia and photos of constructions in Mongolia built by China and others.
Moreover, the National Museum of Mongolia is putting on display the items that have been kept at its treasury fund, such as ceramic vases, tea sets, swords, stone jewelries and various souvenirs to awaken the memories of the 70-year history of Mongolia-China relations.
