Ministry of Foreign Affairs Receives UN Police Adviser and Commissioner Faisal Shahkar

Ulaanbaatar, August 15, 2025 /MONTSAME/. State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Munkhtushig Lkhanaajav, received United Nations Police Adviser and Commissioner Faisal Shahkar during their meeting on August 14, 2025.
State Secretary Munkhtushig emphasized Mongolia’s active participation in the peacekeeping activities of the United Nations and its commitment to increasing the number of female peacekeepers, expressing his willingness to work closely with the UN Police Division to prepare for the future deployment of Mongolian police units.
UN Police Adviser and Commissioner Faisal Shahkar highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation, expressing full support for Mongolia’s participation in peacekeeping operations, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
