Ulaanbaatar, October 14, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Artist Zolbootuguldur Orgil’s “Bent but Not Broken II: My Isolation Diary” exhibition guides the audience through emotional scars, memories, and a mysterious realm of resilience.

Co-organized by “Erin Jargam Culture NGO” and “Norphei Art Gallery” as part of World Mental Health Day, the exhibition showcases 35 works exemplifying how art serves as both a mirror of society and a form of healing.

In artist Zolbootugudur’s works, healing is not about forgetting, but a visual meditation on embracing compassion and living with one’s scars. Through her vibrant yet seemingly fractured pieces, she demonstrates that healing is a long, enduring process requiring resilience and patience.

Artist Zolbootuguldur explained the exhibition's core message: “I wanted to convey that anyone facing mental health challenges or needing support is not alone. We all share similar experiences, and every difficulty is temporary.” She noted that while inner emotions can be difficult to put into words, visual art offers a powerful medium for their expression. The exhibition's title, she explained, was inspired by the crucial need to carve out quiet space for self-reflection in an age where our minds are constantly occupied by social media. Zolbootuguldur added that although her works are primarily digital, she has incorporated mixed-media techniques. She plans to hold future exhibitions that continue to explore this blend of digital and physical art forms.

The exhibition will run until October 17, 2025.

It is worth noting that this is the second exhibition in the “Bent but Not Broken” series, organized as part of the project “Let’s Talk: Addressing the Mental Health Concerns of Mongolia’s Youth”.
