Swimmer Erkhes Enkhtur Wins Silver Medal at Asian Youth Games

Ulaanbaatar, October 29, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The 3rd Asian Youth Games are now in their fifth day in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain.
On October 28, 2025, Mongolia’s
International Master of Sport, Erkhes Enkhtur, won a silver medal in the men’s
50-meter backstroke. Among 32 athletes competing in the event, Erkhes finished
the final with a time of 25.98 seconds, earning Mongolia its fifth medal at the
Asian Youth Games.
Singaporean swimmer Chan Tedd claimed
the gold medal with a time of 25.79 seconds, setting a new Asian Youth Games
record, while swimmer Chang Kai-Yueh from Taiwan, the People’s Republic of
China, took the bronze with 26.17 seconds.
Meanwhile, Mongolian Master of
Sport E. Enkhmend advanced to the finals of the men’s 200-meter breaststroke,
finishing among the top eight with a time of 2:23.63.
