Mongolian Youth Showcase Talent at Silk Road International Children’s Festival

Ulaanbaatar, November 4, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Silk Road-2 International Children’s Competition Festival took place in Hohhot, the capital of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Republic of China, from October 31 to November 1, 2025.


The event brought together 500 young performers from China, Russia, and Mongolia, celebrating cross-cultural creativity and talent.


Representing Mongolia, students from the Darkhan City Youth Theater and the dance ensemble of the Cultural Center in Sharyn Gol soum in Darkhan-Uul aimag showcased their talents on the China-Russia-Mongolia cultural stage.


At the second edition of the festival, the Bell Canto Choral Group – under the direction of Youth Theater vocalist L. Erdenetulga – earned top honors in the choir category.


In the solo vocal category, four performers  B. Suvd-Erdene, E. Azjargal, A. Erdenetjargal, and B. Bayanmunkh  earned first-place honors and received gold medals for their outstanding performances. S. Khurelbaatar followed with a strong showing that secured a silver medal, while B. Tuvshinbold was awarded bronze.


In the solo dance category, H. Uujim-Ayalguu from the Cultural Center of Sharyn Gol soum in Darkhan-Uul aimag, led by G. Bat-Enkh and guided by instructor Batchimeg Naidan, earned a silver medal for an exceptional solo performance.


Festival organizers also recognized conductor and teacher L. Erdenetulga with the “Best Teacher” trophy and certificate, honoring his exceptional mentorship.


The festival, jointly organized by China, Russia, and Mongolia, served as a platform for cultural exchange and artistic excellence.
