ENGIE Group grants equipment and software to Renewable Energy Laboratory

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ ENGIE Group of France donated six kinds of cutting-edge equipment and software worth MNT25 million to the Laboratory of Renewable Energy, the National University of Mongolia.

At the ceremony held on December 7, Benoit Ribesse, head of the ENGIE Representative Office in Ulaanbaatar, granted equipment to improve training environment and skills of students and encourage researches in renewable energy.

Benoit Ribessa said, “ENGIE accentuates to improve skills of students who will work in energy sector. Thus, we cooperate with the National University of Mongolia. We donate renewable energy software and equipment that are used by professionals. For instance, the software will allow students to form all kinds of system modelling and create most suitable modelling for Mongolian energy system.”

During the ceremony, a director of the laboratory A. Amarbayar introduced latest activities and researches of the laboratory and handed a Certificate of Gratitude over to Benoit Ribesse.
