Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The National Agency of Meteorology and Environment Monitoring (NAMEM), western and central aimags will have cooler temperatures on May 11 and eastern half of the country will be cooler on May 12.
Rain and precipitation are expected in eastern parts of western aimag and in some areas of central aimags on May 11, in some areas of gobi and eastern aimags on May 12, in areas of western aimags and in western parts of central aimags on May 14.
Wind will get stronger, reaching 14-16m/sec and occasional dust and snow storm will occur in some areas of the country on May 11, in gobi and prairie areas on May 12, in some areas of western aimags on May 13 and in most of the country on May 14.
In the depression of Darkhad, in the head of Zavkhan river and Khuren belchir, in mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentii, and in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers, the nighttime temperature will be -2 to +3 degrees Celsius, the high of the day will be +19 degrees Celsius.
In southern parts of gobi region, the nighttime temperature will reach +14 degrees Celsius whereas the daytime temperature will rise up to +30 degrees Celsius.
In other areas, the nighttime temperature will be +2 to +7 degrees Celsius and daily highs will hit +25 degrees Celsuis.
